How does it work?

Follow these easy steps to get your school signed up.

1. Appoint a dedicated school coordinator

This role is ideally suited for an existing HPE Coordinator, Head of Department, or Deputy Principal Wellbeing. The coordinator’s responsibilities will include uploading student MIS codes (state schools only) or organising student codes (independent & catholic schools) and extending invitations to other teachers interested in using Blurred Minds Academy.

2. Register your school coordinator

Once you’ve identified your School Coordinator, you have two options. You can either register them yourself using the form below. Or you can forward this website link to them for self-enrolment. Either way, it’s a quick and straightforward process.

3. Following steps

Once registered, your School Coordinator will receive an email with clear instructions on how to add both teachers and students to the system. Then, your teachers and students will receive an email containing instructions on how to access and begin using Blurred Minds Academy. We’ve ensured a smooth onboarding process for everyone involved.

Yes. Blurred Minds Academy resources are designed to empower teachers to deliver more engaging alcohol and drug education lessons. Teachers can modify and tailor the presentation to their students’ specific needs.

Each lesson includes an online component that students can complete at their own speed, which is then followed by a teacher-led classroom session that builds on the learnings from the online activity.

Modules are written to cater for Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 reading level comprehension. Students are expected to be able to navigate the online component which requires reading, listening, comprehension and basic computer skills.

The Blurred Minds Academy features 13 gamified modules which are mapped to the Australian Curriculum for year 7, 8 , 9 and 10.
